Is Brass knuckle illegal in state of california?
I just ordered single (not pair) brass knuckles from company located in KY. I didn't realize it was illegal after I purchased it. So my question is, since it is comming from mail, will postal service check it?
I am planning to return it back if it arrives without any problem.
They are illegal to use or carry on your person. No the postal service doesn't normally check for illegal items. What probably will happen is you'll get your package but the company will refuse to refund because it's YOUR responsibility to determine whether or not the items you buy are legal where you live.
As for possession that's sort of a gray area. If you just keep them in your home like as part of a collection you won't have any problems, unless you have a criminal history that is.
